Hi, I’m Nicolas, a French national living in Scotland since 2010. 

Photography has always been my passion, ever since laying my hands on old polaroids, as well as disposable cameras, and documenting my family holidays when I was a child. Today, I work primarily with film, because I believe its organic and genuine feel cannot be replicated. 

I focus on heartfelt portraits, geometrical forms, the mundane and overlooked aspects of our daily lives, as well as collaborating with local artists, traders and musicians in  promoting their work.

My cameras are my late father’s Asahi Pentax, a Bronica SQ-A, as well as a digital Fujifilm X-Pro 2. Feel free to get in touch if you have a project in mind, I would love to help you give it a unique and authentic feel.
